As we enter a new year, new possibilities are getting created, as RLE International Group and SACHA Group announce their merger to form a powerful engineering powerhouse for the global automotive industry, combining complete vehicle development capabilities with world-class production planning and launch support.

Overath, January 29th, 2026 – RLE International, a global engineering and consulting leader with more than 40 years of experience in mobility and vehicle development, contributes broad expertise across body, powertrain, chassis, E/E, software, and e‑mobility from locations in Europe, North America, and Asia. SACHA Group adds a 100% engineering focus with deep know‑how in simultaneous engineering, process and layout planning, robotics simulation, press tool and tool design, and launch support for automotive manufacturing programs.

By uniting these complementary strengths, the planned merger will create a combined group with comprehensive capabilities from early concept and complete vehicle development through plant planning, cobot integration, and series launch support for complex global programs.

The strategic rationale for the merger is to support established OEMS, as well as new age OEMs, who are simultaneously managing electrification, software‑defined vehicles, and highly flexible manufacturing, and who increasingly require partners that can bridge vehicle engineering and industrialization at scale. The combined group will deliver integrated “design‑to‑launch” solutions that reduce interface risk, shorten time‑to‑market, and improve quality, giving customers one accountable partner across the full value chain from requirements and architecture through SOP and beyond.
