Stefan Lieschke

Stefan is responsible for German operations, including both revenue and profit & loss. He is always approachable, ready to listen, and focused on finding effective solutions.

He has been the Managing Director of Bauer Engineering GmbH since 2015. Mr. Bauer personally chose Stefan as his successor after witnessing his outstanding performance in various areas since joining the company in 2003. His progressive mindset and modern outlook were key factors in his rapid rise within the organization.

Stefan initially trained as a technical draftsman and went on to study mechanical engineering and computer science in Trier. Over the years, he specialized in hemming technology and expanded his expertise in BIW tool design and robotic simulation.

Under his leadership, Bauer Engineering has grown significantly—both technically and strategically. He has deepened the company’s core competence in hemming by integrating advanced tools such as AutoForm and Ansys. Stefan is also passionate about new technologies, particularly AI artificial intelligence. He actively drives the development of innovative machine vision solutions to make hemming processes smarter, more precise, and more efficient.
